Travel Diary: Vegas baby

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great labour day weekend here in Toronto. This year my boyfriend and I decided to spend it in Vegas, not like we were celebrating anything but it was my first time and his third time so definitely more exciting for me. I did loads of research and read up on lots of reviews to make sure we hit all the best places and try all the best foods. (well as much as we could) We spend 4 days and 3 nights on the strip with a car rental on the last day.

Day 1- The Tourist: Our first day was pretty much for settling in/shopping and sight seeing. We landed just a little past noon and lucky for us everyone was prepping for the long weekend so check in was granted early. We got upgraded to just under the penthouse with a strip view plus champagne (Apparently we were celebrating our anniversary if you know what i mean). We made our first stop at Ramsay Burger and that pretty much filled us up for the night. The burgers were amazing and i totally recommend the onion rings. We did more shopping and called it a night. I was loving Vegas already!

These were seriously to die for

Day 2 - The Sugar Party: Our day 2 started early as we slept early the night before. Again we did more shopping and spent a portion of our day by the pool. We made a stop at The Sugar Factory to try their signature lollipop passion goblet. The tropical flavour cocktail was better than i thought because it was melon based i though it would taste really artifical but it wasnt. Oh and plus it was totally instagram worthy!

Day 3 - The Date Night: The longest day as we got tickets to see Mystere by Cirque de Soleil (again totally recommend it) although there wasn't any real storyline to the performance, the acts were really amazing. We had dinner at Tao which gained us direct access to the club afterwards. I thought this was a nice dinner and nightlife combo as we skipped all lines and went straight to the club.

All smiles after my chanel purchase heehee

Day 4 - The Locals: I really enjoyed our last day with the car rental because not only did we get an upgrade to a convertible but it was also nice to see the not so glamorous side of the city, pretty much as a local. We ate at The Boiling Crab and drove to the famous Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas sign and also checked out the Premium outlet mall. I wasn't too fond of the people handing out stuff and expecting a tip but all in all it was an unforgettable experience and I definitely can't wait to go back ^_^

See you soon Vegas!
